How to Use Glitter Iron on Vinyl?

1. Mirror Design

If you are using Glitter HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl), be sure to mirror the image before cutting, and make sure to place the vinyl gloss side down or dark side up on the mat.

2. Cutting

Put the Glitter HTV vinyl on the cutting mat. Since the glitter iron on vinyl is thicker than ordinary vinyl, it is important to use a cushion to hold it in place. We recommend using new or rarely used Green HTVRONT Standard Grip cutting mats or used HTVRONT Strong Grip cutting mats. Brand new sturdy non-slip mats may be too sticky, and used standard grip cutting mats may not be sticky enough.

3. Weeding

Weeding away the excess vinyl, leaving your design on the carrier sheet.

4. Iron / Heat Press

Apply the design to your T-shirt with Mini Easy Pressor Heat Press at 305F / 150C for 10-15 seconds.

5. Cold Peel

Cold peel the clear carrier sheet and finish it!
